We have stayed in The Federal Hotel before and it never changes. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Always a smile and a chat as you walk by them. The rooms are large and very clean and they provide an iron and ironing board also. Nice pool area. Situated close to all the shopping malls, restaurants and nightlife. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

the stay at federal met our expectations without any big pros or cons. would say that either of us liked the bed (espesially the pillows) that much, but that might just be us... didn't have a chance to try the swimming pool or the food, but the room was good enough.

For those who drive to the hotel, parking is at the nearby Plaza Low Yat, no hotel parking. Hotel itself is very old, think the carpet has not been changed for ages, has iron marks on the room carpet. Room though spacious has no view, no complimentary internet provided, even at the lobby you will be charged for RM $10 for half hour use! The plus point is that it is very accessible to shopping and eating places, almost at the doorstep!
